Prime Minister Recean met with the ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Chisinau

The deepening of Moldovan-Azeri relations, including increasing the volume of investments in our country, were some of the topics discussed at the meeting of Prime Minister Dorin Recean with the ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Moldova, Gudsi Osmanov, dean of the diplomatic corps.

The officials mentioned the importance of maintaining and developing an efficient and mutually beneficial partnership for the benefit of the citizens of both states.

The Head of the Executive emphasized that the authorities are open to deepening cooperation in order to increase the volume of bilateral trade. Prime Minister Dorin Recean also spoke for a more dynamic interaction between the business communities of the two countries in areas such as IT, agriculture, and energy.

“Several Azerbaijani companies are already active in our country and we invite you to explore together the opportunities offered by the location of the Republic of Moldova”, said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

Ambassador Gudsi Osmanov mentioned that the relationship between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Moldova was and will remain a special one, reiterating his country’s willingness to promote the implementation of several projects on the bilateral agenda.
