Rosian Vasiloi, the former head of the Border Police, has been indicted in the criminal case related to the attack at Chisinau International Airport on 30 June 2023, which resulted in the death of two people. Violina Moraru, the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor General’s Office (PG), confirmed the information to Realitatea.md
An indictment has been filed against Vasiloi by prosecutors in the criminal case related to the attack on Chisinau Airport on March 6, 2024.
Realitatea.md attempted to contact Rosian Vasiloi for comment but did not receive a response by the time the article was published.
It is important to note that the head of the General Inspectorate of Border Police (IGPF), Rosian Vasiloi, took representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) to court after receiving a severe reprimand following an investigation into the armed incident at Chisinau International Airport (AIC).

On 30 June 2023, while on duty at Chisinau International Airport, border policeman Serghei Muntean and guard Igor Ciofu were shot. The perpetrator, a Tajikistani citizen who had been banned from entering the country, disarmed Muntean before shooting him and Ciofu.
On 18 September, the General Prosecutor’s Office initiated a criminal case against Rosian Vasiloi, the head of the General Inspectorate of Border Police. Vasiloi himself announced the case and also stated that he would be taking a break.
On 8 November 2023, at the Executive meeting, Interior Minister Adrian Efros announced that Border Police Chief Rosian Vasiloi had submitted his resignation request.
