A delegation of the Republic of Moldova, led by President Maia Sandu, is participating in the security conference in Munich. Interior Minister Ana Revenco is also part of the team that traveled to Germany.
The event takes place between February 17-19. During the three days of activity of the Conference, the Minister of Internal Affairs will hold bilateral talks with European officials, with increased attention being paid to the operationalization of the security hub of the European Union in Chisinau, informs the MAI. It happens because “the Republic of Moldova has become a state producing security for the European space, by strengthening the security belt at the border with the war in Ukraine”, states the authority.
Revenco will also participate in various discussion panels, where they will talk about strengthening the resilience of the Republic of Moldova and the state of security in the region, hybrid threats from the Russian Federation, but also the perspectives and priorities of cooperation with the member states of the European Union.
