Shepherd Company Impresses at the International Television Festival and Forum ‘Heart of Europe’

The “Shepherd Company” team proudly represented the Republic of Moldova at the third edition of the International Television Festival and Forum “Heart of Europe,” held from September 25 to 28, 2023, in Warsaw. This initiative by Polish Television gathered public broadcasters from Central and Eastern Europe, providing a broad platform for presenting recent TV productions from the region.

The production team, composed of Sergiu Scobioală and Traian Stoianov, passionately and dedicatedly presented their project, „Fiica Vinificatorului” (The Winemaker’s Daughter), in the TV series pitch competition.

The story of the winemaker’s family deeply impressed the international jury, and the project received a special mention, marking a remarkable recognition of its quality and potential.

“‘The Winemaker’s Daughter’ is more than just a production house project; it’s a national project that promotes Moldova as a tourist destination and tells the story of our winemaking traditions,” said Sergiu Scobioală, the author of „Fiica Vinificatorului” project.

This special mention also brought an official invitation for the “Shepherd Company” team to the “New EU Market” Festival in Zagreb, Croatia, where they will have the opportunity to present the project to potential co-producers. This represents a significant step in the development and promotion of the project in an internationally important environment.

Over 170 projects were submitted to the pitch competition, making the recognition received by „Fiica Vinificatorului” all the more valuable and encouraging for the creators of this project.
