At its meeting on Sunday, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) registered 101 candidates from the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) for the position of member of parliament in the Republic of Moldova’s Parliament for the parliamentary elections scheduled on September 28.
The PAS submitted their documents to the electoral authority on July 20. With this registration, they secure their definitive position as number 1 on the ballot, preliminarily assigned on the submission date.
The electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections will officially begin on August 29. Only from this date can registered candidates start their campaigning activities.

The CEC is currently reviewing the file of the Party of Home Democracy, which resubmitted its documents after authorities rejected its initial registration due to procedural irregularities.
The deadline to submit files for participation in the fall parliamentary elections is August 19.
