The EVO government application will soon feature a new module called Authorizations. Individuals and legal entities can create and manage over 63 types of authorizations digitally.
An authorization allows a person or business to act on someone else’s behalf for specific purposes, such as requesting services or interacting with state institutions. Representatives can use the authorization even at a service counter by presenting the authorization code and a valid identity card.
“This initiative is part of the authorities’ ongoing efforts to reduce bureaucracy and simplify interactions between citizens, businesses, and the state,” stated the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization.
To designate a representative in the EVO app, users must log in, access the Authorizations module, create a new authorization, enter the representative’s IDNP or IDNO, set a validity period, and digitally sign the document using the MSign platform.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitization Doina Nistor emphasized the module’s practical benefits.
“Through a secure and efficient digital solution, we eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy and provide quick access to authorization management—anytime, anywhere. This service is a key step toward fully digitizing public services,” said Nistor.
Nicoleta Colomeet, Director of the Electronic Governance Agency, also highlighted the ease and security of the system.
“With this module, you can delegate rights quickly and easily from your phone. It’s a solution created for you, offering full control and safety in your relationship with public institutions.”
Launched on June 6, 2024, the EVO application streamlines access to public services by offering digital documents, personal and business information, payment tools, and the ability to manage authorizations. Full functionality requires an electronic signature.
