Chisinau International Airport served 57.9% more passengers in October compared to the same month last year. Overall, the airport handled 411,424 passengers for arrivals and departures, an increase of 150,833 passengers from October 2023. The airport administration reported that this exceeded forecasts, achieving 158.2% of the projected figures.
Passenger flow increased most significantly to destinations such as Antalya, London, Sharm el Sheikh, Rome, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Milan, Vienna, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Venice, and Tbilisi.
In October, 32,359 passengers traveled to new destinations, representing 7.78% of total traffic. Aircraft movements included 3,160 landings and take-offs.

In the cargo segment, the airport handled 277.2 tons in October 2024, a 21.7% increase from the previous year.
