The US President, Joe Biden, had a bilateral meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu. The announcement was made on the official website of the White House.

“President Biden reaffirmed the firm support of the US for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova. He highlighted ongoing US assistance to help Moldova strengthen its political and economic resilience, including its democratic reform agenda and energy security, and to address the effects of Russia’s war against Ukraine,” the White House wrote.
