The presidential residence in Condritsa will host the Forest Festival on September 14. President Maia Sandu has invited citizens to attend and celebrate the forest and the nation’s unity in protecting the environment.
It marks the first time the event will be held at the Condritsa residence and is part of the National Afforestation Program initiated by President Sandu.
“During my visits to villages and towns across Moldova, I’ve met many people eager for more forests. I hold the National Afforestation Program dear, as it has united people from all ethnicities, views, and political preferences to work together for the common good. Since the program’s launch, we’ve planted and regenerated nearly 11,000 hectares of forest with the help of over 18,000 foresters and volunteers. Many more forestry projects are on the way. This unity and shared effort deserve celebration at the Forest Festival, where all forest enthusiasts are welcome,” President Sandu stated.
