The Prime Minister, Marcel Ciolacu, discussed the potential union of the Republic of Moldova with Romania.
Invited to DC by Anca Murgoci and Bogdan Chirieac, Marcel Ciolacu, Prime Minister of Romania, declared himself a supporter of the union of the Republic of Moldova with Romania.
“I support the union of the Republic of Moldova with Romania. I did not receive a ban. I believe in the union between Moldova and Romania. This will be done within the EU, and we will find a solution,” said the Prime Minister of Romania.
“The Republic of Moldova has achieved sustainability with the assistance of Romania. This is a fact. There are Romanian citizens residing in the Republic of Moldova. History has been unjust, just like special pensions. I cannot change the past, and the present is a consequence of the past. What can we do, to build the future,” said Ciolcau.
