Communists and Socialists will address the Prosecutor’s Office because the government is promoting the referendum for European integration. This statement was made in the plenary hall by Vlad Batrancea, the leader of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BCS) faction.

The deputy referred to the editing of newspapers, creating advertising spots, and placing billboards throughout the country. He also mentioned that ministers are overstepping by taking on the responsibilities of deputies.

“We would like to inform you that we are submitting another request to the Prosecutor’s Office, specifically concerning the Government of the Republic of Moldova assuming the responsibilities of the Moldovan Parliament by amending the Government’s Regulations,” said Batracea.

In response, the vice president of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) pointed out that the goal of European integration has been committed to by the government, and the current majority in power was elected to pursue this objective.

“Referendums are the epitome of democratic exercises, allowing all citizens to voice their opinions on essential societal issues, with European integration being one of them,” concluded Gherman.
