The “Alternativa” bloc aims to derail the country’s European integration, and the 2025 parliamentary elections will be the most crucial since independence, according to Doina Gherman, a member of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS). She made this statement during the Rezoomat program on RLIVE TV.
“We are in an information war. Everyone must understand that the 2025 parliamentary elections will likely be the most important since independence. They will determine whether we continue on the European path or choose between two development models. One model upholds democracy, human rights, prosperity, economic growth, and fairness. The other brings invasions, wars, bloodshed, and violations of fundamental human rights and freedoms. That is why it is crucial to recognize that it, as you mentioned, has only one goal—to bury the country’s European integration,” Gherman said.
A new political bloc, “Alternativa,” has emerged on the political stage in the Republic of Moldova. It was announced today by Ion Ceban, Alexandr Stoianoglo, Ion Chicu, and Mark Tkaciuk. In a press conference at IPN, the leader of the National Alternative Movement (MAN), Ion Ceban, the mayor of Chisinau, stated that the country needs political maturity and the consolidation of strong, healthy forces more than ever to face the current situation.
