The mayor of the capital and the leader of the National Alternative Movement Party (MAN) Ion Ceban, will not rule out the possibility of running in the presidential elections, which will be held in Moldova this fall. The statement was made during the “Puterea a Patra” program on the N4 TV channel.
Ion Ceban said that at the moment, the MAN party has not made a final decision on the matter.
“The decision to run or not to run for president of Moldova will be made in the MAN party. I do not rule out that I might run as a candidate. At the moment we are focusing on the problems of Chisinau and looking for ways to solve them. The citizens of the municipality delegated me to local elections for the further development of the capital,” he said.
