Young people in Moldova are determined to vote, knowing it gives them a voice in the country’s future. Hear their message:
“We, the youth, are choosing our future—we can’t just stand by,” says Bogdan.
“Being young means stepping up in decision-making,” Vlada adds.
“Young people can and must decide. Our future hinges on our choice. I choose to vote. You should, too!” Nicu encourages his fellow citizens.
“I’m a doctor, a graduate of the University of Moldova, and I want to live and work at home. I want a healthy society and a country that values and supports young professionals. I’m voting because I want to shape my future,” says a young doctor, Cristina.

The second round of Moldova’s presidential election is on Sunday, November 3. Moldovans at home and abroad will choose their president for the next four years, with the decision between current President Maia Sandu and the Socialists’ candidate Alexandr Stoianoglo.
In the first round on October 20, nearly 400,000 young people aged 18 to 35 voted.
