Greco-Roman wrestlers Maxim Sarmanov and Alexandru Solovei have won the title of European vice-champions in the under-20 age category.
Maxim Sarmanov lost only in the final of the weight category up to 55 kg against Papik Dzhavadian, who competed at the European Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia, under a neutral flag.
Alexandru Solovei also won the silver medal in the up to 77 kg weight class after losing to Levente Levai from Hungary. He defeated fighters from Georgia, Norway, Armenia, and Sweden.

Last year, Alexandru Solovei won the European championship and became the vice-world champion in the under-20 age category.
