The message of the Minister of Internal Affairs on 33 years since the Nistru War: We do not forget, we remain united

”An unjust war took lives and tore families apart, but it did not defeat us” – Interior Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin’s message on 33 years since the Nistru War.

Interior Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin emphasized the duty to honor veterans and commemorate those who fell while defending Moldova’s sovereignty and independence.

“Thirty-three years ago, an unjust war took lives and tore families apart, but it did not defeat us. Today, on the Day of Remembrance and Gratitude, we honor the heroes who stood on the front lines, fulfilling their duty first. They gave us the freedom to choose our future. History is our shared responsibility. We do not forget, we remain united, and together we shape this country’s future—because our strength lies in unity,” Misail-Nichitin stated.
