The “Reinvent Moldova 2.0” event, organized by the Realitatea Media Group, brings forward personalities who actively contribute to the transformation of society. Among the invited speakers is Daniela Vidaicu, one of the most influential voices of civil society in the Republic of Moldova.
During the panel dedicated to society, Daniela Vidaicu will speak about the role of democratic reforms, the strengthening of the rule of law, and the importance of civic engagement in an ever-changing European context.
Currently, Daniela Vidaicu serves as Executive Director of the Soros Foundation Moldova, a position she has held since February 2024. Previously, she was Director of Advocacy and Programs within the same organization, contributing to the promotion of justice reforms, transparency, and human rights.
Her professional background also includes diplomatic experience at the Embassy of Sweden in Chisinau, where she managed programs in democracy and human rights, as well as work in the public sector at the Ministry of Justice of Moldova. A lawyer by profession, she graduated from the Moldova State University.
Recognized for her involvement in promoting European values and civic dialogue, Daniela Vidaicu has participated in numerous national and international forums, supporting initiatives aimed at good governance and public participation.
“Reinvent Moldova 2.0” will take place on April 30, 2026, at MAIB Park, in a TED Talk format, bringing together leaders, experts, and visionaries on a platform for dialogue and inspiration for the country’s European future. The event will be broadcast live on Realitatea TV and on the media group’s online platforms.
