The Prime Minister, Natalia Gavrilița, declared in a press conference that she is concerned about the situation in the region, but also about the latest statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the partial mobilization.
“It’s a large number of people who could get involved in the war and that would lead to the escalation of the war. We do not want this. I have always advocated for peace in the region. We are seeing the disastrous consequences of this unjust war of Russia against Ukraine. I want to strongly condemn these so-called referendums and in this context I want to reiterate the support of the Government of the Republic of Moldova for the independence of Ukraine”, said Natalia Gavrilița.
