Starting today, July 22, authorities will begin accepting documents to register electoral blocs for nominating candidates for President of the Republic of Moldova in the October 20, 2024, elections.
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) informs that this process will last until August 25, 2024.
Submit documents to the Commission’s headquarters at 119 V. Alexandra St., Office 202, Chisinau, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 to 16:00 (with a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00).
On Sunday, August 25, documents will be accepted from 10:00 to 17:00 (lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00). Also, from today, political parties can submit documents for registration of electoral blocs for the republican constitutional referendum.

We note that the electoral period for the presidential election and the republican constitutional referendum will begin on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Starting on August 21, candidates for the presidential election can begin collecting signatures from supporters and submitting their registration documents to participate in the referendum.
