There is only one European Presidential Wine Collection in the world. The collection can be seen at Castel Mimi. This collection marked a historic moment in the European integration of the Republic of Moldova. It became the symbol of the second Summit of the European Political Community, held on June 1, 2023, at Castel Mimi.
During the event, each European country leader left their mark in the Guest Book and put their signature on the sticker Castel Mimi’s iconic wine.
Ursula VON DER LEYEN, Olaf SCHOLZ, Emmanuel MACRON, Vladimir ZELENSKY, and Klaus IOHANNIS are just a few of the European leaders whose names visitors will find in the European Presidential Collection at Castel Mimi.
The European leaders received as a gift 25 bottles of the emblematic Roșu de Bulboaca wine, the pride of the Republic of Moldova, a product highly appreciated at dozens of international competitions and marketed in 15 countries worldwide. Liqueurs are carefully stored in the Castel Mimi collection but can be taken as needed.
The summit on June 1, 2023, from Castel Mimi, is the biggest and most important event in the history of the Republic of Moldova. Castel Mimi hosted 2175 participants, including 45 heads of state and European leaders.
The distinguished guests tasted and appreciated the wines served at Castel Mimi: “DIVA” sparkling wine, the 2019 Roșu de Bulboaca wines, The Governor Blend, Sânzienele, and Ice Wine.
