Yesterday, in Chisinau, the launch of the Municipal Volunteer Festival took place, which will run until December 3rd, as announced by Petru Grecu, the director of the Municipal Youth Center, at a press conference. According to him, the purpose of the event is to promote and recognize the value of volunteering, as well as contributions to the development and prosperity of the capital.
"Today, on October 3rd, we are launching registrations for the Municipal Volunteer Festival, where young people from Chisinau who are actively involved in government organizations, youth centers, perform volunteer actions, or have done so during the year 2023, can submit their applications for the festival. The submission period is from October 3rd to November 10th. Especially in this month dedicated to volunteers, we will organize various activities and flash mobs to promote active volunteering among the youth in the capital," stated Petru Grecu.
Additionally, on October 10th, a cultural voucher dedicated to the Year of Youth will be launched for those who are involved in the activities of youth centers.
