How the Government will mark Europe Day: talks with ministers, exhibitions and excursions

The Government, the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, along with the embassies of EU Member States and the citizens of our country, will observe Europe Day on 9 May.

At noon, the Government pavilion, situs in the Great National Assembly Square, will host members of the Cabinet of Ministers. The objective of the meeting is to discuss the joint effort required to build a prosperous, modern, and European state.

Also, in the Executive Pavilion, interested people can register for a tour of the Government House, which will open its doors to visitors. The trip will include visiting the institution’s museum, the Executive meeting room, the media room, and other locations. Children will also participate in a treasure hunt, and each participant in the race will receive a gift.

In the Government Garden, visitors can admire various exhibitions, including the equipment and vehicles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Customs Service, and the State Tax Service.

Also at the event, 18 EU Member States and 30 EU-funded projects assisting in various fields, such as rural, economic, and social development, will provide visitors with information about their activities and the concrete or potential beneficiaries of this assistance.

In the evening, the audience may enjoy a concert by Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici & Orchestra, The Urs, Lupii lui Calancea, ensemble “Hecenii” and Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine, who were the winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
