Also today, Grosu is to meet with the Minister of State for European Affairs, Peter Burke, and with the Minister of Public Expenditure, Development of the National Development Plan and Reforms, Paschal Donohoe, who is also President of the Eurogroup, an informal body that brings together ministers from the states members of the euro area.

“In continuation of the official visit to Ireland, I had the honor and the pleasure to speak with the President of Ireland, Mr. Michael D. Higgins. I talked about bilateral cooperation and expressed my gratitude for the support given to the Republic of Moldova over the years. The main topic of the meeting was our country’s project – the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union. And Ireland supports us in this process, and we are determined to accelerate our reform agenda. I am sure that together with reliable partners we will overcome all crises”, writes Grosu.
