Moldovans living abroad can vote at 234 polling stations on October 20. Three of these stations, located in the United States, Canada, and Sweden, will also accommodate postal voting.
Polling stations abroad will be in Moldova’s diplomatic missions and consular offices. At the same time, based on prior registration, they will also be set up in certain regions where Moldovans are settled and have registered to participate in the elections.
When setting up the polling stations, authorities considered data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, information from host countries on Moldovan residents, and statistics from the Office for Relations with the Diaspora.
