The high representative of the European Union for foreign affairs and security policy, the vice-president of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, arrived at the MIMI Castle in Bulboaca, where the EPC Summit is being held today. The official began his statements to journalists by expressing his sadness and regret over a new attack that took place today in Kyiv, Ukraine. Because of this attack, at least three people died, including two children.
The official stated that the main topics on the agenda should primarily focus on the restoration of peace and security, and for this, we need more unity, not only at the level of the European Union but also of the whole world.

Referring to the perspective of the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union, Josep Borrell stated that Moldova should continue to make reforms and that it must solve its problem related to the Transnistrian region, as it cannot integrate into the European Union having a frozen conflict.
