For the general local elections on November 5, 2023, a total of 1,958 polling stations will be open. The majority of polling stations are located in the electoral districts: Chișinău No. 1, covering the sectors and suburbs of the capital – 305; Orhei – 83; Ungheni – 78; Soroca – 74; and Florești – 71.
The fewest polling stations will be open in the electoral districts: Basarabeasca – 15 and Dubăsari – 14.
“To check online which polling station you are assigned to, voters can access the website www.verifica.cec.md, click on the ‘Find where to vote’ button, and by selecting their home address, they will find information about the polling station associated with the address,” the CEC informs.
