The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, makes an announcement to all citizens inviting them to celebrate the decision of the European Council to open negotiations for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.
“Let us rejoice together in a historic step for the destiny of our country. We have gained the trust of the European Union, maintained unity, and all worked very hard for Moldova to win the chance of a better future for all citizens,” mentioned Maia Sandu.
The head of state urges all institutions, all development partners, and all entrepreneurs in Moldova to speak about European integration, promote our European path, and together transform the entire Moldova into a European state.
“I invite you on Sunday, December 17, at 2:00 PM, in the courtyard of the Presidency, to rejoice together,” emphasized President Maia Sandu.
