To achieve this, the Ministry of Education and Research, in collaboration with universities, will organize a national information and promotion campaign highlighting educational opportunities. The campaign will run from March to May 2025 and target high school and college graduates. Moldovan universities also aim to attract 2,000 international students for the 2025-2026 academic year, positioning the country as a competitive educational destination.
Expanding dual education programs is another key priority. Beginning in 2025, approximately 150 students will enroll in these programs through partnerships with 50 companies across several universities.
The Republic of Moldova currently hosts 16 higher education institutions, including 12 public and four private universities, for the 2024-2025 academic year.
