What it’s about
For over a decade, Wizz Air has been promoting an active lifestyle by sponsoring running events across our network. In 2024, more than 120,000 runners challenged themselves with WIZZ. Now, in 2025, we’re taking it to the next level with the WIZZ Run Series! This exciting new initiative invites amateur runners to participate in as many WIZZ running events as possible throughout the 2025 race calendar. Lace up, take on the challenge, and be part of something bigger with WIZZ!
Run for points
Amateur runners are encouraged to participate in as many WIZZ-sponsored events as possible to maximize their points. Each kilometer completed in a race earns 1 point, and the top three male and female runners with the highest points will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Eligibility
Amateur runners aged 18 and over, who are not members of any sports association and do not compete professionally, can participate in up to nine events, with the potential for more if Wizz Air announces additional sponsorships.
Post-race requirements
After each event, participants must complete a quick survey to verify their participation, including an upload of a certificate, which will be provided by every organizer. The form is available here.
2025 Race destinations
In 2025, you can run in Milan, Cluj-Napoca, London Hackney, Warsaw, Budapest, Skopje, Sofia, Rome, and Venice. We understand that due to a packed event calendar and overlapping races on the same day, it may not be possible to participate in every event. However, we encourage you to join as many as you can and make the most of the experience!
From Start to Finish
The WIZZ Run Series officially kicks off in 2025 with the first marathons in Milan and Cluj-Napoca and concludes with the Venicemarathon—unless an additional WIZZ-sponsored event is added after that. Winners are expected to be announced in early December 2025.
