Parliament’s Spring Session 2023 Concludes: Building a European Moldova for the Future

The spring session of 2023 of the Parliament has concluded. In today’s plenary meeting, the deputies adopted the Resolution on the conclusion of the first regular session of the current year.

The President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, delivered a SPEECH at the end of the spring session, where he assessed the parliamentary activities and the laws passed by the Parliament, aimed at bringing changes for the people and bringing our country closer to the European Union. In his address to the deputies, the legislative leader spoke about the reforms in the economy, justice, healthcare, social and youth sectors, agriculture, culture, and sports. He discussed the achievements made so far and the existing challenges.

“We are aware that there is still much to be done. We will not deviate from the justice reform, and criminals and fugitives will face the consequences of their actions. We will continue our efforts to develop our economy and agriculture. We will build a European Moldova at home for the future of our children, so that they can live in peace and understanding in our Moldova, the land of all,” said the President of the Parliament at the end of the session.

According to the Legislative Regulations, the Parliament meets in two regular sessions per year. The spring session begins in February and cannot extend beyond the end of July. The autumn session is scheduled to begin in September.
