The doors of the Presidency open to the public who wish to visit the exhibition of photographs taken by journalists Viorica Tataru and Andrei Captarenco, who have walked in the footsteps of the war in Ukraine. President Maia Sandu discussed their experience with documentary journalists, and the press service of the presidential institution reports.
“In a few days, it will be two years since the war started in Ukraine. For almost two years, Russia has been bombing and attacking Ukrainian settlements daily, bringing death into the homes of peaceful and innocent people,” she said.
The President mentioned in his message that journalists Viorica Tataru and Andrei Captarenco, on their way, have captured realities difficult to imagine for our century, but which can be seen in the photo exhibition opened on the ground floor of the Presidency.
The exhibition is a token of gratitude for Ukraine’s heroic resistance and can be visited until March 3, Monday to Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday – from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
“I also thank journalists Viorica Tataru and Andrei Captarenco for having the courage to go to the field and through their work contribute to reflecting the truth about the atrocities of the war in Ukraine,” said Maia Sandu.
