On Thursday, 18 April, Moldovan President Maia Sandu received letters of accreditation from the newly appointed ambassadors.
In a press release issued by the Presidency, two ambassadors of European Union countries, Nikolaos Krikos, representing the Republic of Greece, and Aune Kotli, representing the Republic of Estonia, presented their letters of accreditation. During the official ceremony, the head of state also expressed gratitude to the EU member states for their support of the Republic of Moldova on its European journey. He particularly welcomed Greece’s decision to establish an embassy in Chisinau shortly. Today, Carlos Alejandro Poffo, Ambassador of Argentina, and Vinta Some, Ambassador of Burkina Faso, presented letters of accreditation.
