Yesterday, on the Day of Dignity and Freedom, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska paid tribute to the memory of activists who lost their lives during the Revolution of Dignity.
The event was also attended by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
Together, Volodymyr and Olena Zelensky, along with Maia Sandu, placed lanterns at the cross on the Alley of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes in Kyiv.
Those present also paid their respects to the fallen activists near their portraits.
In honor of the deceased participants of the Revolution of Dignity, the tolling of the bell echoed.
