The Republic of Moldova Olympic Team won one silver medal, two bronze medals, and two honorable mentions at the International Mathematical Olympiad, held in Bath, UK, July 11-22, 2024.
Marius Cerlat won the silver medal. He is a pupil of the Private Educational Institution “Orizont” Theoretical High School in Chisinau. Bronze medalists were Timur Degteari, Alin Popescu, Mihai Eshanu, and Laura Shestacov, students of the same educational institution who obtained honorable mentions.
The 609 students from 109 countries attended the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad. Five students and two teachers represented our country:
