Royal diplomacy is employed for the benefit of the Republic of Moldova because citizens on both sides of the Prut River represent one nation. This statement was made by Her Majesty Margareta, the Custodian of the Romanian Crown, in an interview with Digi24.ro.
When asked by a reporter why the Royal House uses diplomacy in favor of the Republic of Moldova, which is facing an informational hybrid war initiated by Russia, Her Majesty Margareta mentioned that both the right and left banks of the Prut speak the same language, share the same church, and have the same Crown.
“We are one nation. We speak the same language, have the same church, share the same Crown, and it is our duty to fight for Romanians wherever they are. And when I met with President Sandu and she asked if we could collaborate or help, I immediately said yes because I feel at home there. It is also a historical connection, and I have no reason to say no,” declared the Crown Custodian.
