Shocking fake: a former law enforcement officer from Transnistria claims that organs are being sold en masse in Moldova

The program “National Security Strategy” aired on a radio station owned by the Russian Ministry of Defense aired a frightening fake, which states that allegedly people in Moldova are selling organs. The program guest was Dmitri Soin, a former deputy of the so-called Supreme Council in Tiraspol and an employee of the law enforcement agencies, who said that some Moldovans have only one kidney because “Westerners need spare parts,” TV8 writes.

“There are several small towns in Moldova where people with one kidney live. They were involved in a fraudulent scheme, and people were promised money for a donor organ. They (Westerners) need replacement parts because their kidneys are deteriorating. Such small and disenfranchised countries are well suited for this,” said Dmitry Soin.

Dmitry Soin lives in Russia. From 1993 to 2007, he worked in the Transnistrian so-called Ministry of State Security. In 2013, he left Transnistria, claiming political persecution by the authorities. Earlier, he spread another fake, alleging that the Moldovan army had joined the armed forces of Romania and NATO.
