Moldovan students will still have the chance to receive scholarships for studying at educational institutions overseas. The legislature has voted on the draft law approving the Agreement on the Exchange Programme for University Studies in Central Europe (CEEPUS IV), which was signed in Warsaw in 2023, in both the first and second readings.
The agreement is set to be extended for seven years. This will encourage the participation of students, researchers, teachers, and administrative staff in academic mobility, research programmes, internships, or professional activities in higher education institutions in the contracting states of the agreement. The Republic of Moldova will also offer scholarships for foreign citizens.
