The Czech Republic will contribute to the government program “Ajutor la contor.” How much money is the Prague Government offering

The Government of Prague will provide 10 million Czech korunas, equivalent to nearly 8 million lei, for the government program “Ajutor la Contor” The announcement was made on Monday, December 16, during a meeting between the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Alexei Buzu, and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Chisinau, Jaromír Plíšek.

“Constant support from the Czech Government is a clear example of solidarity and cooperation between our countries, especially during this hard period. This financial contribution will help reduce the impact of rising energy prices on vulnerable households in the Republic of Moldova.

According to the Czech Embassy in Chisinau, this contribution will support vulnerable households, helping them cope with the winter’s energy challenges.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reminds that since the launch of the “Ajutor la Contor” government program in 2022, which provided energy compensation for households for three consecutive cold seasons, the Government of the Czech Republic has consistently offered financial support, with the total assistance provided so far amounting to 16.2 million lei.
