The Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova announces that it will temporarily restrict national airspace on Wednesday, May 29. It happens in the context of the official visit to our country of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
“Between 08:00 and 21:00 (local time), general aviation flights, helicopters, hot-air balloons, motor gliders, paragliders, as well as the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are prohibited in Sector 1 of the Chisinau TMA,” the statement reads.
In the same context, the Chisinau City Hall announced that it would temporarily limit people’s access to certain public places in the capital. Traffic officers urge drivers to comply with their requirements, show patience and discipline, and not deviate from traffic regulations.

At the same time, the Police ask citizens during this period:
- not to park their cars in the perimeter of the mentioned streets;
- to choose adjacent streets for the journey;
- during the journey, NOT to block intersections;
- to show understanding and mutual respect;
- to respect the traffic rules and the requirements of the police officers.
