Moldovan winemakers exported 65 million liters of wine in six months of 2024. Production reached 62 states, according to Customs Service data provided to BANI.MD.
The US received the most wine in terms of value, totaling 373.3 million lei for 8.8 million liters.
Moldova exported 6.8 million liters of wine to Romania for 276.6 million lei, while exports to Poland totaled 80.8 million lei, Georgia 74.2 million lei, Canada 51.7 million lei, and the Netherlands 45.6 million lei.

In the first six months of 2024, exports of bottled wines from the Republic of Moldova registered a remarkable growth in both volume and value. Compared to 2023, the export volume increased by more than 9 million liters, representing an impressive 51.7% growth.
In value terms, this growth translated to more than 22 million dollars, indicating a significant rise of 56.6%.
