Two students from the Republic of Moldova have won first place in a global competition that encourages innovation in artificial intelligence (AI). Nikita Moglan and Daniela Malancea, who attend the “Iulia Hasdeu” Theoretical High School, developed an AI platform named “MediScan” that offers medical diagnoses. They received guidance from their teacher, Viorica Moglan.
The project provides beneficial information to users, whether they are patients from isolated villages or healthcare service providers.
The Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun, congratulated the young innovators and wished them success in their studies and research.
