Up to 3000€ cash allowed on board FlyOne! Passengers denied boarding lose their ticket money.

FlyOne is announcing that passengers traveling on the Yerevan-Chisinau flight may carry a maximum of 3,000 euros or an equivalent amount in another currency in cash. People need to declare their money.

If the amount is higher, they must also present documents confirming the origin of the funds. Otherwise, their journey will be interrupted.

The airline will preliminarily forward the list of passengers to the Moldovan authorities, and after the checks, they will approve or deny their boarding.

Only passengers who have received authorization will be allowed to travel. People rejected by the authorities to enter the country or declared persona non-grata will not be admitted and will not get their ticket money back.

“In Yerevan, all passengers will be subject to additional screening at the state border crossing and/or upon boarding,” the airline says.

According to the flight operator, the measures will support the actions of the Moldovan law enforcement forces fighting illegal migration, terrorism, and other criminal actions that jeopardize the country’s security.

Recall that in the past, Shor’s activists were bringing money from Moscow to illegally finance parties run by the fugitive politician and following the controls at the airport. They made a spectacle and scandal, claiming that authorities jeopardized their right to return to their homeland.
