The Moldovan rugby team won their third Conference Division match, defeating Bulgaria 48-6.
Thanks to this victory, “Haiduk” finished top of Group C and will play away on 25 May in a play-off match for the right to promotion with the Luxembourg team. The winner will advance to European rugby’s second most significant division.
Ion Kopitov scored twice, while Cristian Cebotari, Ion Puike, Dorin Botan, Igor Mishin, Adrian Costru, and Nikita Macaria scored once each. Adrian Adam has successfully converted four of his eight attempts.
