A Federal prosecutor in US, born in Moldova, has been selected as chief prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office

Veronica Dragalin has been selected as the head of the Moldovan Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. She is a Doctor of Law at the University of Virginia School of Law and an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Federal District Attorney’s Office in Central California. Nominated for the Young Federal Attorney National Award and the Federal Prosecutor for Women in Federal Justice, she speaks Romanian, English, Spanish, Russian, German and Italian.

The Special Commission for the Pre-Selection of Candidates mentions that the pre-selection stage in the competition for the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office was promoted by the candidate Veronica Dragalin, who obtained a total score of 9.8 points.

The decision is to be submitted by the Superior Council of Prosecutors.

In the competition for the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, four candidates participated: Dragalin Veronica, Bordianu Adrian, Brînză Victor and Iachimovschi Octavian.
