Chateau Cojușna: A Premier Winery and Distillery in Moldova, Blending Tradition and Innovation

CHATEAU COJUȘNA is one of the largest producers and exporters of Wines and Spirits (brandy) in the Republic of Moldova.

Established in 1995, the holding company includes two subsidiary companies, S.A. “MIGDAL-P” focused on the production of still wines, and S.R.L. “VOITIS DISTILLERY,” with its main activity centered around the production and export of wine distillers, brandies, and other spirits.

The production consists of several highly efficient vineyard complexes located in the central part of Moldova, in the town of Cojușna, after which the company is named.

Currently, the company owns over 240 hectares of vineyards, comprising both European and Moldovan grape varieties.

The production infrastructure ensures control over all stages of winemaking, and the professionalism and dedication of the specialists are a strong guarantee of exceptional quality.

The main range of products includes still wines and aged brandies ranging from 3 to 10 years of maturation, as well as Grappa and other alcoholic beverages. They export to 25 countries and have approximately 50 permanent importers.

In addition to the production aspect, they also have a tourism complex equipped with four halls decorated in different styles, a museum, a summer terrace, and an observation terrace on the castle’s roof, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding area.

The tourist route also passes through the underground cellar, where 175 thousand bottles of vintage wines await connoisseurs at a constant temperature of +12…+14ºC. The most exclusive and valuable wine bottle is MARSALA from the year 1990.
