Moldovan entrepreneurs can start businesses anywhere in the world, yet they choose to stay in their homeland. With this sentiment, Aliona Butacova, founder of the Hill&Valley eco-friendly agro-tourism complex, located just 30 minutes from Chisinau, began sharing her success story.
In a short video interview conducted in the context of an information and voter education campaign on Moldova’s European integration, Butacova talked about her first European experience and her expectations from the European Union.
“My first trip to Europe was in 2008, in Prague, and I was deeply impressed by the order, cleanliness, and public transportation that always comes on time. I expect the European Union to provide access to funding, safety, and quality services to improve our living standards,” Butacova said.
