A new airline started its operations at Chisinau International Airport on Wednesday. It is Georgian Wings, which will operate flights from the Moldovan capital to Tbilisi.
Flights will be operated on Tuesday and Saturday. The flights will be operated with modern Boeing 737 aircraft, according to Chisinau International Airport.
“So if you have holiday plans or want a memorable city break, Tbilisi is the city that is sure to surprise you. Beautiful landscapes, impressive historical monuments, delicious food, excellent wines, and hospitable people are just some of the reasons why the capital of Georgia is worth visiting, Tbilisi is included in the ranking of cities that everyone should see at least once in their life,” say the representatives of Chisinau Airport.
Georgian Wings’ arrival on the Moldovan market was announced in early December 2023. One-way tickets will cost around 100 euros, according to prices posted on the company’s website.
Note that Georgian Wings also has the direction Chisinau-Tashkent on its website. However, tickets are not yet on sale.
Georgian Wings is a “young” airline, which started operating flights in July 2023. Initially, flights were only domestic, to Batumi, and expansion began with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Moldova.
