Huge humanitarian aid donation made by a Moldovan-American company

In the context of the war in Ukraine and the large number of people taking refuge in the Republic of Moldova, looking for a safe place, the Moldovan-American company Nova Lines has joined the efforts of the authorities in managing the humanitarian crisis, according to realitatea.md.

Thus, on Wednesday, April 6th, the company donated to the Government a batch of humanitarian aid worth over 500,000 MDL: hygiene products for children and adults, food for children (milk powder, fruit / vegetable purees, porridge).

Present at the event, Tudor Mancaș, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, thanked the company’s representatives for their involvement and support in these complicated times.

“The unity and solidarity that our society has shown in these difficult times has to be appreciated. I am glad that the economic agents are not nonchalant and support the Government in managing the refugee crisis. Every donation provided is extreamly helpful to the Ukrainian refugee families. Together we will be able to create favorable conditions for all those who need help and care,” said Tudor Mancaș, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

All donated goods will be stored at the warehouse of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, from where they will be distributed as needed to centers hosting refugees in Ukraine.
