Moldova to Acquire Another Air Surveillance System, Says Defense Minister

Moldova will have an additional air surveillance system, in addition to the one that arrived in Chisinau recently, announced Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi.

According to the official, a radar model with the necessary technical parameters has been identified, and a company from which to make the purchase will be determined.

“As for the second radar, the tactical specifications have already been determined. At the moment, the European Union Project Implementation Agency is working to identify the companies,” mentioned Anatolie Nosatîi.

It is worth noting that a modern air surveillance system arrived in Chisinau a few days ago, which was purchased from the national defense budget. The radar will detect both large and small aerial targets, contributing to increased airspace visibility.
