People want peace and this government can provide it. This is how Nicu Popescu answers, being asked by Deutsche Welle journalists if the Kremlin could influence the elections in Moldova in 2024. According to him, most opposition parties in Chisinau do not want war either.
According to the Moldovan foreign minister, such a scenario is only the opinion of experts. At the same time, according to him, any election is unpredictable.
“I can say clearly that most people in Moldova want to live in a free and stable country. This government can provide it. Several opposition parties also want to preserve peace, freedom, and calm in the country”, declared Popescu.
